When Presidents Were Leaders
A long time ago, before Americans were viewed as obese, pill-popping, reality TV-watching, idiot-electing bumblers, we actually had real leaders and a national consciousness that went beyond Britney Spears' crotch. Not that I don't like Britney's crotch. But I digress.
John F. Kennedy (who might have turned 91 this month had he not been murdered in an as yet unresolved plot) talked about peace in this commencement address in 1963. Compare and discuss.
